Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a process that recognises a student's current skills and experience regardless of where and when the learning occurred. Applications for RPL are based on whole competencies.
RPL assessments are designed mainly for people working in industry who have on-the-job skills and want to obtain a formal qualification. Qualifications are available up to Advanced Diploma, and are especially useful for people wanting to sell their services, gain job portability or a promotion.
