At  AITT, we often talk about how important the right learning environment is for adult learners. Every learner is different, and sometimes a simple change in delivery mode can completely transform the training experience.

After initially commencing her TAE journey through self-paced study, Marissa made the decision to transition into our face-to-face workshops - and the difference was immediate. 

From the moment she joined the classroom sessions, she was able to utilise her incredible energy and enthusiasm within every workshop. She was always willing to contribute to discussions, share her own experiences, support other participants, and help create a positive learning environment for everyone around her.

Marissa embraced every challenge with a consistently positive attitude right through to the end.

Her bright smile became a familiar part of the classroom, and her engagement reminded everyone that learning is not just about assessments and competencies,  it is also about connection, collaboration, and being part of a supportive community.

The transition from self-paced learning to face-to-face delivery is not necessary for every learner (some learners may even prefer to transition from face-to-face to self-paced!) but Marissa’s journey highlights something important: the right environment unlocks a learner’s full potential.

We are incredibly proud of what she has achieved and excited to celebrate her success properly at our upcoming graduate catch up this August which will be held at her husband’s new café, making the occasion even more special.
