A Milestone for AITT: Our First Public School Partnership

We’re proud to announce a major milestone for AITT.

For the first time, a Western Australian public school has partnered with us to deliver our Work Skills Program. That school is Darling Range Sports College.

This is more than just a new partnership. It’s a signal that public schools are actively looking for strong, compliant, and future-focused RTO partners to support meaningful VET pathways for students.

And we’re honoured to be trusted with that responsibility.

Why This Matters

Public schools operate under tight governance, strong accountability frameworks, and high expectations from parents and the community.

For a school like Darling Range Sports College to choose AITT reflects:

  • Confidence in our compliance systems

  • Confidence in our quality assurance processes

  • Confidence in our ability to support staff professionally

  • Confidence in our commitment to student outcomes

This partnership allows students to integrate VET into their existing timetable, working toward nationally recognised qualifications as part of their Further Study, Employment or WACE pathway.

That’s real-world learning. Embedded in real schools. With real outcomes.

Approved on the WA Department of Education Panel

We’re also pleased to share that AITT has been successfully appointed to the Department of Education WA panel for the provision of Work Skills qualifications to public schools! This has allowed us to connect with schools like Darling Range Sports College.

Provision of Auspice Services to Enable the Delivery of Vocational Education and Training in Public Schools

Request Number: ED240162

This panel appointment means we are an approved local provider for auspicing services across public high schools in Western Australia.

What the Panel Enables

The panel allows public schools to integrate AITT’s Work Skills programs into their existing curriculum and timetable structure, enabling students to:

  • Gain vocational skills

  • Complete units of competency

  • Work toward nationally recognised qualifications

  • Strengthen their Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE)

Under our unique delivery model:

  • The school uses its own staff and facilities to deliver our Work Skills program

  • AITT, as the RTO, oversees assessment, compliance and quality assurance

  • We ensure regulatory standards are met

  • We issue qualifications and Statements of Attainment

  • We provide professional development and curriculum support to all teachers

It’s collaboration done properly without simply handing over course materials to our partners.

Our intention is to minimise schools exposure to compliance risks and prevent students from achieving compromised outcomes.

We value

  • Strong teacher capability

  • Clear compliance pathways

  • Consistent assessment standards

  • Sustainable VET programs inside schools

At AITT, we treat this responsibility seriously.

We bring our Quality Management System, trainer matrices, validation processes, industry engagement and regulatory expertise to every partnership. When a school puts its name next to ours we take that trust seriously.

Looking Ahead

To all involved, thank you for the systems and groundwork that made this possible.

To Darling Range Sports College — we’re excited to build something meaningful together. And to other schools watching this space, the door is open!
